In order to get same day shipping you will need to make your order before 10:30am Sunday to Thursday. This will ensure your order is placed in line, ready for dispatch. The VARI series of floods have been avalable for some time now and are proving to be somewhat of a revalation with customers.

Recent improvements to the light engine include the upgrading of the LED to the high efficacy Philips Luxeon T LED (110lm/w) and the addition of 2 more beam angle options to provide an even broader scope for an already versatile luminaire.

SeerLED has taken things a step further with the inclusion of a high grade waterproof quick connection system to add faster and simpler servicability. While most people believe LED lighting is impervious to failure it simply is not the case with the typical break down point being the driver 90% of the time. A lot LED flood luminaires need to be opened to service the driver located internally to help with packaging and safety. This packaging simply adds an element of complexity to the servicing proceedure with most luminaires having to be removed to complete the driver replacement. In some cases the luminaire needs to be returned to base for repairs which leaves the customer without a light fitting for a week or more. The VARI series driver is stored internal for safety but it is isolated from the LED compartment via a simple cover.

Instead of having to maintain spare luminaires it is now a case of simply having a spare driver on hand to repair the fitting back to servicability, it's cheaper and faster reducing maintenace costs and saving time while also being a lot safer with no bare wires.

VARI has 11 beam angles options in power settings ranging from 40w to 1100w. Providing multiple beam angle options allows customers to pick and choose the right luminaire for their requirements. Unlike the good old days of incandecent luminaires that distributed light in all directions, LED can be shaped to allow lower power while achieving the same or higher lux levels as legacy luminaires. From a simple small area security lighting project, large scale sports field, catwalk illumination or a carpark VARI has an option that will suit your needs.

IES data is available for most options on request and SeerLED maintains an in house design department that can find the right luminaire for your requirements.

VARI Series

Surface mount, weather proof fluorescent battens have been considered an industry standard in lighting for many years now and are used in a wide range of applications such as schools, mines, public spaces and general commercial / industrial projects alike.

Until now, many companies have been pushing for LED tube replacements however LED tube often does not make economical sense.

To obtain the maximum efficacy from an LED retro fit, the existing luminaire should be rewired to bypass the original driver. If the original driver is maintained in the system it will keep consuming the same amount of power as the original incandescent tubes. In these circumstances, it can be more cost effective to replace the fitting all together, providing a brand new, efficient and permanent solution.

Its this conundrum that has helped us develop the LURO Series linear luminaires. Feature rich for a competitive price theLURO has been designed with LED in mind from the ground up especially to replace those old worn out fluro fittings. IP65 water proof and IK10 impact resistance all add up to a long lasting LED solution that can fit practically any installation scenario.

The connection system also allows LURO to be daisy chained together reducing wiring time and simplifying future maintenance.

One of the biggest issues with LED fittings is maintenance. The construction of the LED system really doesn't make life easy when it comes time to replacing a driver or PCB. LURO is designed to be simple and easy to change out a defective luminaire in seconds allowing for the repair to be carried out in a more friendly environment when and where you choose. LED PCBs are easy to replace with no heat paste required, and the driver is mounted on a retractable tray for easy replacement.

DALI control will be available in November with the 30w and 60w options coming first followed by the 120w in the new year.

One of the most exciting additions to the new SeerLED commercial downlight range is the Scopio642. A versatile, powerful and brilliantly designed luminaire.

Available in 3000k Warm and 4000k Neutral CRI90, White or Black housing with 4 different beam angles the Scopio642 42w luminaire can be a downlight, wall washer, or spot light all in one. All options come standard with the industry leading Tridonic driver for reliable, stable performance in the most demanding environments in dimmable and non dimmable including DALI.

Changing out a reflector is fast and simple, choose from 60° standard or 18°, 25° or 35° beam angles as optional extras. Changing direction and angle is easy and safe allowing a flexible luminaire for those commercial and retail environments that like to change the layout regularly to keep the customer interest or simply set and forget.

SeerLED recently commissioned one of the first in Australia, fully automated, DALI / KNX lighting control systems with motion sensing, daylight harvesting and remote access monitoring. The system has been operating for 5 months with minimal reprogramming required to meet the customers operational requirements.

The major benefit is the massive reduction in power consumption from lighting that would normally be on for 15-20 hours a day, even if it wasn't neeeded. This can now be reduced to maintain a trageted lux level during day and night operations. By maintaining a pre-determined lux level during the day, lighting can be on minimal power or completly off maximising power savings over the long term. Daylight harvesting logic ensures overcast days wont lead to safety breaches with below standard lux levels. When the system detects a low lux occurance the sensors adjust the dimming of the fittings in a accupied zone to achieve the pre-designated lux level. Adjusments are made over a couple of minutes to avoid any instant increase in light levels that could also cause a safety issue.

Daylight hours are typically the hottest parts of the day, this extra heat can accelerate LED decay and fitting failure. By maintaining luminaires on mimumal power settings the luminaires don't reach critical temperates so decay rates are even further reduced providing a truely long term illumination solution.

Night time warehouse operations typically requires small areas of the warehouse, being used for short periods of time. The control system operates the luminaires on demand in occupied zones. If the zone hasn't been occupied for 10 minutes the system is programmed to progressivly lower the lux levels in increments back to 0% over a specified period. This allows warehouse staff to see where they are going since the luminaire will not switch off and leave them in the dark. The KNX protocol has allowed for a truely customisable, scalable solution that can be easily reconfigured in years to come should the warehouse operations need to change or the addition of extra sensor be required.

One of the main strengths of LED lighting is the instant on with no restrike wait times unlike incandescent luminaires. The technology has progressed even further with a reliable, cheap and cost effective automation solutions allowing maximum savings on your investment. While illumination running costs are not always the biggest cost of business the savings do add up very quickly with an 'on demand' system. Never again will a staff member forget to turn off the lights costing you valuable money or forget to turn on the lights when illumination levels are unsafe.

Additional benefits outlined by the customer indicate the warehouse staff now have an extra sence of situational awareness when someone else is in the building becuase a zone will be activated where normally it would not need to be. Staff are then more alert to potenial hazards which now sees them taking more care when a zone activation occures.
